The opportunity

Awarded contract, established plant, new ownership.

USA Apparel Incorporated acquired an operating apparel manufacturer in Cidra, Puerto Rico and, in August 2026, completed novation of its federal contract portfolio — including an indefinite-delivery contract with the Defense Logistics Agency carrying a $28.6 million maximum value.

The investment thesis is straightforward: a plant with proven capability and a government customer already under contract, recapitalized and run with disciplined cost management and program execution.

  • Awarded federal contract with remaining ordering capacity
  • Berry Amendment–compliant domestic production — a structurally protected niche
  • Management team with decades of apparel manufacturing P&L experience
  • Identified growth paths in additional DLA programs and prime subcontracts
